Kathmandu. Forbes has released the list of the world’s billionaires for 2025. This year, there has been a significant increase in the number of billionaires.
There are currently 3,288 billionaires in the world. This year, there are 247 more billionaires than last year. All these billionaires have a total wealth of $16.1 trillion. This amount is $2 trillion more than last year.
The United States leads the list of billionaires. There are 902 billionaires in the United States. China is second with 516 billionaires and India is third with 205 billionaires. Mukesh Ambani is the richest person in India and Asia, and he is ranked 18th in the world. Reliance Industries Chairman Ambani has a net worth of $92.5 billion.
The number of billionaires in India has increased slightly. Last year, there were 200 billionaires. This has now increased to 205. Their total wealth is $941 billion. Last year, this number was $954 billion.
If we look at the list of the world’s richest people, Elon Musk is at the top. He has almost doubled his wealth in a year. Mark Zuckerberg has reached the second position. Jeff Bezos is at the third position.
