Kathmandu. Non-life insurance companies have already published financial statements for the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year 2081/82. According to the financial statements published by the companies, the net business of insurers has increased by 17 percent compared to the same period last year.
In the review year, the companies collected Rs 17.59 billion in net insurance premium. In the same period of the previous year, the companies had collected a net insurance premium of Rs 15.01 billion.
Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Company has collected the highest net insurance premium in this review year. The company has collected Rs 2.11 billion in net insurance premium. The company’s net insurance premium has increased by 22 percent compared to the previous year. Siddhartha Premier Insurance is in second place. The company has collected Rs 2.05 billion in net insurance premium. The company’s net insurance premium has increased by 11 percent compared to the previous year. Himalayan Everest Insurance is in third place. The company has collected Rs 2.02 billion in net insurance premium. The company’s net insurance premium has increased by 57 percent compared to the previous year.
Neco Insurance Company has collected Rs 1.71 billion in net insurance premium. The company’s net insurance premium has increased by 7 percent compared to the previous year. Shikhar Insurance Company has collected Rs 1.71 billion in net insurance premium. The company’s net insurance premium has increased by 31 percent compared to the previous year. IGI Prudential Insurance has collected Rs 1.36 billion in net insurance premium. The company’s net insurance premium has increased by 12 percent compared to the previous year.
Oriental Insurance has collected Rs 1.31 billion in net insurance premium. Compared to the previous year, the company’s net insurance premium has decreased by 5 percent. United Ajod Insurance has collected Rs 1.17 billion in net insurance premium. The company’s net insurance premium has increased by 7 percent compared to the previous year.

National Insurance has collected Rs 560.6 million in net insurance premium. Compared to the previous year, the company’s net insurance premium has decreased by 9 percent. The national insurance company has collected Rs 247.4 million in net insurance premium.
