Kathmandu. Life insurance companies have published financial statements for the third quarter of the fiscal year 2081/82. According to the financial statements published by the companies, the net insurance income of the companies has increased by 11 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.

During this period, the companies have earned a net insurance premium of Rs 122.64 billion. In the same period of the previous year, these companies had earned a net insurance premium of Rs 109.61 billion.

During the review period, Nepal Life has collected the highest amount of insurance premium. During this period, the company has earned a net insurance premium of Rs 32.50 billion. Compared to the same period of the previous year, the net insurance revenue has increased by 11.61 percent.

The second is National Life. The company has earned Rs 14.07 billion in net insurance premium during the period. Compared to the same period of the previous year, the net insurance revenue has increased by 11.48 percent. LIC Nepal is in third place. During the period, the company has earned Rs 13.95 billion in net insurance premium. Compared to the same period of the previous year, the net insurance revenue has increased by 8.43 percent.

Similarly, Himalayan Life has earned Rs 12.18 billion in net insurance premium. Compared to the same period last year, the company’s net insurance revenue increased by 1.33 percent. The National Life Insurance Company has earned Rs 7.73 billion in net insurance premium. Compared to the same period last year, the company’s net insurance revenue has increased by 0.56 percent. Suryajyoti Life has earned Rs 7.51 billion in net insurance premium. Compared to the same period last year, the company’s net insurance revenue has increased by 17.85 percent.

Similarly, Asian Life has earned Rs 6.37 billion in net insurance premium. Compared to the same period last year, the company’s net insurance revenue has increased by 13.61 percent. Citizen Life has earned Rs 4.81 billion in net insurance premium. Compared to the same period last year, the company’s net insurance revenue has increased by 20.67 percent. Sanima Reliance Life has earned a net insurance premium of Rs 4.65 billion.Compared to the same period last year, the company’s net insurance revenue increased by 15.88 percent. Met Life has earned Rs 4.26 billion in net insurance premium. Compared to the same period last year, the company’s net insurance revenue has increased by 7.27 percent.

On the other hand, IME Life has earned a net insurance premium of Rs 3.60 billion. Compared to the same period last year, the company’s net insurance revenue has increased by 15.65 percent. Prabhu Mahalakshmi Life has earned Rs 3.49 billion in net insurance premium. Compared to the same period last year, the company’s net insurance revenue increased by 17.81 percent.

Reliable Nepal Life has earned a net insurance premium of Rs 3.47 billion. Compared to the same period last year, the company’s net insurance revenue has increased by 27.18 percent. Sun Nepal Life has earned Rs 3.34 billion in net insurance premium. Compared to the same period last year, the company’s net insurance revenue has increased by 34 percent.
