Kathmandu. Life insurance companies have earned a total of Rs 14.69 billion in insurance premiums in the month of May of the fiscal year 2081/82 BS. According to the data published by the Nepal Insurance Authority, the life insurance companies operating in the country have collected a total insurance premium of Rs 14.69 billion by selling 436,975 policies.
During this period, Nepal Life Insurance Company collected the highest total insurance premium. The company collected rs 4.43 billion in insurance premiums during the period. The second is National Life. The company collected a total of Rs 1.70 billion in insurance premiums during the period. LIC Nepal is in third place. The company collected a total of Rs 1.66 billion in insurance premiums during the period. Himalayan Life has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 1.42 billion.
Suryajyoti Life has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 92.77 crore.
Asian Life has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 720 million. Citizen Life has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 646.9 million. Sanima Reliance Life has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 565.1 million.
Met Life has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 558 million. IME Life has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 530.9 million. Prabhu Mahalakshmi Life has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 444.4 million. Reliable Nepal Life has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 409.6 million. The National Life Insurance Company has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 334.8 million. Sun Nepal Life has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 320.8 million.
