Kathmandu. The government has moved forward the process of appointment to the vacant post of Executive Director in the Health Insurance Board.
The post of Executive Director has been vacant in the Insurance Board for 3 months. Dr. Damodar Basaula’s term as Executive Director ended on Kartik 25.
The recommendation committee formed by the Ministry of Health and Population has issued a notice today inviting applications for the post of Executive Director in the Insurance Board. The committee has stated that the appointment process of the Executive Director has been moved forward through open competition.
Interested candidates can submit their applications along with the necessary documents to the Ministry of Health within 10 days from the date of publication of the notice. While submitting the application, the candidate will have to submit a copy of the required educational qualification certificate, a copy of the citizenship certificate, and an action plan with a concept note.
The candidate should not have exceeded 65 years of age. The application fee will be Rs. 5,000. The application form can be downloaded from the ministry’s website.
The recommendation committee will shortlist 5 names from the applications received and call them for an interview and action plan presentation. At least 3 of the candidates who score the highest marks will be selected and recommended to the Council of Ministers. The Council of Ministers will appoint one of those candidates as the Executive Director of the Insurance Board.
