Kathmandu. Swavalamban Laghubitta Financial Institution Limited branch office, Kalyanpur, Saptari has distributed various fruit saplings on the occasion of World Environment Day. Khadak Municipality Ward No. 10 has been formed with the intention of making women members associated with financial institutions entrepreneurs in agriculture. Mango, litchi and lemon saplings were distributed to each of the women customer members of 99 households of Shambhunath Municipality Ward No. 7 and 8.
The fruit sapling distribution program was organized at Shree Basic School, Ward No. 8 of Shambhunath Municipality. The chief guest of the program, Ward Chair Indrakantchaudhary thanked Swavalamb Laghubitta for helping in the agricultural enterprise by distributing such saplings in the community. Similarly, principal of the school, Bijay Kumar Chaudhary, expressed the belief that the distribution of fruit saplings to the women would help in fruit cultivation in the village.
On the occasion, Branch Manager Anil Kumar Sah said that the financial institution has been working from time to time for financial and non-financial support and entrepreneurship promotion in order to support the customer members in various enterprises in addition to the service of loan and savings.
