Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Sun Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (SUN) has signed an agreement with Lumbini World Peace Forum (WPF) to launch ‘One Million Trees Campaign’. The collaboration aims to contribute in nature conservation, environmental balance and greenery expansion and will have a positive impact on communities across the country.
According to the company, “The ‘One Million Trees Campaign’ will contribute to the long-term expansion of greenery across the country.” The goal of planting one million trees is in itself an important step towards environmental balance, carbon emission reduction and temperature control. This is expected to contribute immensely to sustainable climate management by providing a safe environment for future generations.
Currently, Sun Nepal Life Insurance has been providing its services through 148 branches and sub-branches across the country.
