Kathmandu. Today, the stock market closed sharply. Today, the NEPSE index increased by 58.63 points to close at 2,682 points. Today, the share prices of 238 companies have increased while the prices of 14 companies have fallen.
A total of 1,13,53,148 units of shares of 328 companies were traded and Rs 5.29 billion worth was traded today. Shares of Nepal Reinsurance Company Ltd were traded the most today. The company’s shares worth Rs 38.68 crore were traded. Shares of Universal Power worth Rs 18.30 crore were traded. Shares of Himalayan Distillery worth Rs 18.16 crore were traded.
Investors of Saptakoshi Development Bank and Joshi Hydropower Ltd earned the most today. Today, investors of these two companies have earned 10 percent. Green Development Bank, Narayani Development Bank, Sindhu Bikas Bank, Geogol Energy and Asian Hydro earned 9.99 per cent each.
Today, the largest number of Prabhu Smart Fund unit owners have lost. Today, its unit owners have lost 4 percent.
