Stock market plunges by double digits, turnover crosses Rs 7.73 billion

Kathmandu. On the first day of the week, the stock market closed down by double digits. Today, the NEPSE index fell by 25.70 points to 2,762 points. Today, the share price of 58 companies has increased while the share price of 191 companies has decreased.

During the day, a total of 2.5million units of shares of 317 companies were traded and shares worth Rs 7.73 billion were traded. Shares of Nepal Reinsurance Company have been traded the most today. Shares worth Rs 51.67 crore of the company were traded today. Shares of Himalayan Reinsurance Ltd were traded at Rs 354.5 million. Shares worth Rs 249.6 million of Nepal Republic Media were traded today.

Today, the unit owners of RBB Mutual Fund 1 have earned the most. Today, its unit owners have earned 7.93 percent. Investors of Upper Sangge Hydropower have earned 6.29 percent. Investors of Kalika Power earned 5.96 percent. The investors of Upper Hewakhola have earned 5.76 percent.

Today, investors of microfinance institutions have lost the most heritage. Today, its investors have lost 7 percent.
