Kathmandu. The stock market closed down by double digits today. Today, the NEPSE index decreased by 22.58 points to close at 2,505 points. Today, the share prices of 40 companies have increased and the share prices of 206 companies have fallen.
Shares worth over Rs 3.10 billion were traded in 318 companies today. Shares of Nepal Reinsurance Company Ltd were traded the most today. Today, shares of the company worth Rs 20.54 crore were traded. Shares of Himalayan Reinsurance Company Ltd (HLIC) worth Rs 13.49 crore were traded. Shares of Union Hydropower Ltd worth over Rs 9 crore were traded.
Today, the investors of domestic microfinance institutions have earned the most equity. Today, the company’s investors have gained 6.93 percent. Equity holders of NIC Asia Blondes Fund have earned 5.23 percent. Investors in Crest Micro Life have gained 3 percent.
Today, the investors of Samaj Microfinance and Bindhyabasini Hydropower have lost the most. Investors in these companies lost 10 percent today.
