Kathmandu. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index posted a double-digit fall today. This is the second time since the Genji movement, there has been a strong bounce back today. The market closed 6% lower on Thursday after the first trading session of the Genji movement hit the negative circuit. However, the NEPSE index increased by 116 points to close at 2,627 today.
Share prices of 224 companies have increased while the share prices of only 28 companies have fallen. A total of 2,32,224 units of shares of 329 companies were traded on the day. Shares of Nepal Reinsurance Company Ltd were traded the most today. Today, the company’s shares worth Rs 83.13 crore were traded. Shares of Himalayan Reinsurance Limited (HLIC) worth Rs 48.26 crore were traded. Shares of Guardian Micro Life Ltd. worth Rs 30.48 crore were traded.
Today, investors of 9 companies have earned the most. The investors of Sindhu Bikas Bank, Geogol Energy, Goodwill Finance, Shivam Cement, Joshi Hydropower, Api Power Company, Ankhu Khola Hydropower Company, Balefi Hydropower and Himal Dolakha earned 10 percent each.
Investors of Siddhartha Premier Insurance Company lost the most today. Today, the company’s investors have lost 7.64 percent.
