Kathmandu. A four-day technology festival ‘Tech X: Elevate 2025’, organized by Softwarika College of IT and e-Commerce, concluded with enthusiasm. The program, which was conducted from July 28 to July 15, became a common platform of students, business representatives, educational institutions, influencers and investors interested in technology.
The presence of more than 10,000 visitors, the participation of more than 50 educational institutions, the exhibition of more than 30 technology-friendly companies and dialogues with more than 15 renowned content creators have established this festival as an unforgettable technology festival.
More than 20 innovative technological projects developed by the students were showcased in the program. Karuna (Knowledge Based Assistant for Robotic Utility and Navigation Acts), MIRA (Modern Educational and Engagement Robotic Assistant), StudySense (Virtual Reality Enabled Gamified Course Counselor), Tomatro (The AIPaward Agrobot for Precision Tomato Harvesting), Fishover, Flip RFID, Chemlab VR, Affordable Detector ML.
Narayan Koirala, Dr. Narayan Koirala and Dr. Narayan Koirala were present at the entrepreneurship masterclass session organized for the development of entrepreneurship and business thinking. Established entrepreneurs and trainers like Manish Thapa and Niranjan Khadel shared their experiences.
More than seven of the more than 25 inspiring startup ideas that participated in the VC pitching session showed interest. According to the organizers, this has given more energy to innovative thinking. The college has also announced an investment of Rs 10 million to ensure the flow of investment among talented startups.
Over the course of the four days, various motivational personalities talked about life outlook, leadership abilities, and responsibility to society.
More than 30 companies participated in the two-day job fair, where more than 500 participants, including current and alumni of Softwarika College, explored future-building prospects through live interviews, networking, and career counseling.
One of the highlights of the event was the ‘Iron Clash’ robot combat competition, where student groups that had been preparing continuously for two years competed with the use of high technology. The winners of the tournament were awarded a cash prize of Rs 300,000, which made the competition even more exciting.
At the closing ceremony of the event, the organization described ‘Tech X: Elevate 2025’ not only as an exhibition of technology but as a confluence of education, innovation and inspiration. Softwarika College reiterated its commitment to provide world-class technology skills, thinking and confidence to nepali youth and enable them in global competition.
