Kathmandu. Micro non-life insurers have brought in a business of about Rs 770 million in the 10 months of the current fiscal year till April.
According to the data released by the Nepal Insurance Authority (NEA) today, four small non-life insurers have earned a total insurance premium of Rs 766.9 million by selling 308,376 insurance policies till Mid-April.
Nepal Micro Insurance has the highest number of business arrivals till Mid-April. The company has earned a total insurance premium of Rs 215.2 million by selling 85,121 insurance policies.
The second is Protective Micro Insurance. The company has earned a total insurance premium of Rs 197.9 million by selling 78,454 policies.
Similarly, Star Micro insurance has earned Rs 183 million by selling 83,022 policies and Trust Micro Insurance has earned Rs 170.6 million by selling 61,779 policies till April 2018.
