Skill-based training started targeting 400 youths of Bharatpur

Kathmandu. A skill-based training has been started targeting the youth of Bharatpur. Chief of Bharatpur Mahagnar Renu Dahal inaugurated the training amidst a programme. A total of 400 youths from 18 to 40 years of age from Bharatpur are being given 10 different types of training.

The operation will be conducted for 3 months i.e. 390 hours with the financial support of the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security, The Ministry of Social Development of The Province and the coordination of Bharatpur Metropolitan City.

Inaugurating the training, Bharatpur Metropolitan City Mayor Renu Dahal said the focus was not only on the development of physical infrastructure in Bharatpur but also on creating employment.

She also said that more than 4,000 people have been trained ward-wise in the past years.

Chief Dahal said that in the next few days, 1,700 youths are going to be given various types of training based on demand.

Deputy Mayor of The Metropolitan City, Chitrasen Adhikari, said that the number of youth going for foreign employment could be reduced by imparting skill-based training to the youth of the country.

Deputy Mayor Adhikari also wished him success in getting the certificate of skilled citizens by actively participating in the three-month training.

Metropolitan City Chief Administrative Officer Laxmi Prasad Poudel said that the state has been providing training to the citizens to make them self-reliant and urged them to make good use of it.

Chief of employment section Sendesh Wagle said that under the skill-based training, training in computer repair, mobile repair, cook, waiter, beautician, garment, machine operator, fashion designer, plumber, care giver, housekeeping will be given.

The training will be facilitated by Nepal Entrepreneur Development Consultancy Centre, Kantipur Multi-Technical School, World Ling Technical Training Institute, Navratna Technical Training Institute, Brilliant Manpower Training Centre, SIMEGA Human Academy, Asian School of Tourism and Hotel Management.
