Kathmandu. Siddhartha Premier Insurance has paid more than 2.68 billion claims in the first 5 months of the FY 2082/83. Among them, Rs. 100,000 crore has been awarded as compensation to the nation’s infrastructure, industry, trade and personal property due to the riots, vandalism and arson that took place in different parts of the country during the Jenji agitation in the last week of September. Rs 1.88 billion has been paid. This amount is about 40 percent of the total claim settlement made by all the companies so far under the damages incurred during the Genji movement.
The company has also paid more than Rs 800 million in the first five months of this fiscal year for non-GenG claims.
Last year, Siddhartha Premier had paid the highest number of claims arising out of floods and landslides.
The company is committed to protect the insured people by settling the compensation of the insured property due to the damage to the industries, trade and private property of the country and requested the claimants who are yet to be paid to the claim settlement by submitting the necessary documents as soon as possible.
