Kathmandu. Shikhar Insurance continues its efforts to provide relief to the private sector targeted during the ‘Gen G’ movement by paying compensation quickly.
The insurance company has paid a claim of Rs 41 crore on the basis of the field survey report and evidence received from the insured during the one month of the agitation.
Chief Executive Officer of Shikhar Insurance, Mr. Deep Prakash Pandey said that Shikhar Insurance is trying to provide compensation to the insured as soon as possible as the insurance company is important in times of difficulty. He said, “We are always striving to be a friend of sorrow for the insured, and even now we are working with the same purpose.”
According to the insurance company, the highest amount of Rs 27,90,95,000 has been paid under property insurance within a month. Similarly, Rs 10.32 crore has been paid for motor insurance and Rs 2.84 crore for engineering insurance.
According to the Insurance Company, Rs 2.8 crore has been paid as compensation for the vandalism and loot of ATM machines.
Shikhar Insurance has estimated a loss of Rs 2.41 billion due to vandalism, looting and arson during the ‘Gen G’ agitation on September 7.
Pandey said, “Since all the assets insured have been adequately resured, the insured can be confident of getting compensation. ‘
