Kathmandu. Shikhar Insurance has become the first company to collect Rs 500 crore insurance premium from the non-life insurance business.
The company has issued a notification for the current fiscal year 2081. A total of Rs 500 crore has been collected so far. The company had earned Rs 486 crore in insurance premiums till Last April.
Last year 2080. Shikhar Insurance had earned a total insurance premium of Rs 547 crore till Mid-June 2018. So far in the current fiscal year and till mid-June of the previous year, the total insurance premium of any other non-life insurer has not reached Rs 500 crore.
According to Shikhar Insurance, this milestone has been maintained with the trust and support of the customers. “We express our heartfelt gratitude to all the customers, employees and well-wishers who trusted us for our success,” the company said in a statement. ’
