Kathmandu. Shares of Jhapa Energy are set to start trading from Sunday.
Jhapa Energy IPO has been listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) today. The ordinary shares of any company will be traded from the second day of listing in NEPSE. However, the shares of Jhapa Energy will be traded from Sunday.
A total of 38,01,900 units of shares of Jhapa Energy have been listed on NEPSE. Out of the total offered shares, the company has 9,50,475 units (25%) of the general public and 2,851,425 units (75%) of promoter shares.
NEPSE has assigned ‘Jhapa’ trading signal to Jhapa Energy. For the first transaction, NEPSE has fixed a minimum of Rs 100.12 to a maximum of Rs 300.36 per share. Now, in the special presession on Sunday, if the shares of the company are traded within the range set by NEPSE, it will be traded for the regular session.
Jhapa Energy had opened its IPO for the general public from September 20 to September 13. The IPO was allotted to the office of Himalayan Capital, the issue manager, on September 22.
