Shares fall marginally to Rs 3.89 billion

Kathmandu. The market closed lower on the first day of the week. The NEPSE index decreased by 5.15 points to close at 2,540 points. Shares of 74 companies have increased and the share prices of 168 companies have fallen.

Shares worth Rs 3.89 billion were traded on the day, out of which 795.75 million shares of 337 companies were traded. Today, SBL debentures are the most traded of Rs 2089. Today, its shares worth Rs 28.90 crore have been traded. Shares of Nepal Reinsurance Company (NBCL) worth Rs 21.35 crore were traded. Shares of Mountain Energy worth Rs 20.84 crore were traded.

Investors of Sagar Distillery, Bungal Hydro and Bandipur Kelkar earned the most today. Today, investors of these three companies have earned at the rate of 9.99 percent. The unit holders of Nabil Debentures have earned 9.91 per cent.

Today, investors in Geologic Energy have lost the most. Today, its investors have lost 10 percent.
