Kathmandu. The share prices of two companies have been adjusted on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE). The share prices of Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank and Universal Power Company Limited have been adjusted on the basis of the stock exchange.
After the book closure of these companies for the AGM and dividend distribution, NEPSE adjusted the share price and fixed the new price. NEPSE has adjusted 10 percent bonus shares of Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank and 9 percent bonus shares of Universal Power.
After the merger, the share price of Sewa Bikas Bank has been fixed at Rs 477.73 while the share price of Universal Power Bank has been fixed at Rs 380.28. NEPSE has adjusted the share prices of these companies based on the closing price of the previous trading day. On the previous trading day, Kamana shares were last traded at Rs 525.50 per share, while Universal was last traded at Rs 414.50 per share.
Based on this adjusted price, the shares of these companies will open in the secondary market today.
