Shangri-La Development Bank conducts tree plantation programme

Kathmandu. Shangri-La Development Bank Limited has completed the tree plantation program as per the commitment to plant one tree in one account through World Environment Day 2025 and ‘Sagrila Green Saving’ announced by yes bank last year. As per the commitment, trees were planted in the vicinity of Mahalaxmi Temple at Okharpauwa of Kakani Rural Municipality-1 in Nuwakot today.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of Shangri-La Development Bank Ujwal Satyal, Members of the Board of Directors, Chief Executive Officer Suyog Shrestha, Chief Operating Officer Apoorva Prasad Joshi, Chief Loan Officer Rajit Maskey, Chairman of Kakani Rural Municipality Suman Tamang, Ward No. 1 Chair Padam Bahadur Shrestha, among others, were present on the occasion.

On the occasion, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Shangri-La Development Bank, Ujwal Satyal, expressed the belief that trees have been planted this year in order to carry out various activities while being aware of the protection of the environment.

Similarly, Kakani rural municipality chair Suman Tamang appreciated the tree plantation work and pledged to work hand-in-hand to protect the environment.
