Kathmandu. The federal government is set to provide a total of Rs 78.8 billion to seven provinces for revenue sharing for the upcoming fiscal year 2082.83.
According to the Ministry of Finance, an estimated total of Rs 78.85 billion is set to be provided to seven provinces for the upcoming fiscal year. Koshi Province is set to receive the highest amount for revenue sharing. This province will receive an estimated Rs 12.396 billion.
Similarly, Madhesh Province will receive Rs 12.3584 billion, Lumbini Rs 11.8656 billion, Bagmati Rs 11.5284 billion, Karnali Rs 10.273 billion, Sudurpaschim Rs 9.8725 billion and Gandaki Rs 9.791 billion.
Similarly, the minimum, formula-based and performance-based fiscal equalization grant amount to be transferred to the 7 provinces from the federal government is Rs 60.66 billion. Which includes a minimum of 15 billion 16 million 50 thousand rupees for the provinces, 43 billion 68.6 million rupees based on the formula, and 2 billion 42.64 million rupees based on performance.
