Securities Board’s Training Program for Compliance Officers

Kathmandu. The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBI) organized a training programme on information, details and information to be disseminated by the listed organized organizations in the capital on Friday.

Deputy Executive Director of securities board Tej Prasad Devkota highlighted the program at the programme inaugurated by Dr Nawaraj Adhikari, chief executive director of the Department of Policy Research and Training of securities board. Rupesh KC, Chief Executive Director of the Department of Supervision, who presided over the program, welcomed the participants and concluded the inaugural session.

On the occasion, Board Director Hari Prasad Bhusal made a presentation on the legal provisions related to compliance. Director Ambika Ojha Gupta made a presentation on the challenges and problems related to compliance status.

After the training, a discussion and interaction session was also organized with the participants. Dipesh Tamrakar, Deputy Executive Director of the Board delivered the closing remarks on the occasion.

A total of 75 compliance officers of listed development banks, finance companies and microfinance companies participated in the program.
