Kathmandu. Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Company Limited and Matrika Eye Treatment Centre have signed an agreement for free cataract surgery. Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance has signed an agreement with Matrika Eye Treatment Centre in Purano Baneshwor, Kathmandu to provide free cataract surgery.
As per the agreement, Matrika Eye Treatment Centre will provide eye checkup, vision screening, treatment and free cataract surgery through a specialist team. During the program, patients will be provided with essential medicines, intraocular lenses, anesthetic medicines and necessary pre-operative check-ups free of cost.
Similarly, Kathmandu Metropolitan City Ward No. The cataract surgery of 50 selected patients will be conducted on October 10 at Matrika Eye Treatment Centre, Old Baneshwor.
Mr. Barishma Saud Acharya, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Company, Mr. Suraj Shrestha, Chairman of Matrika Eye Treatment Center and Mr. Kalyan Dhungana, Administrative Officer of Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Company Ltd. were present during the program.
