Kathmandu. A discussion and awareness program on agriculture and livestock insurance was organized by Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Company Limited on Chaitra 19 at the assembly hall of Panchkhapan Municipality in Sankhuwasabha district. The program was chaired by Narayan Gautam, Koshi Province Chief of Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Company, and hosted by Maniram Khatiwada, Chief Administrative Officer of Panchkhapan Municipality. The program was conducted by the head of the Khadbari branch, Durga Prasad Gautam.
A total of 53 people, including municipal agricultural and livestock technicians, other employees, cooperative representatives, and leading farmers, attended the program. Umesh Dhakal, head of the agriculture and livestock department of Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Company, provided important information about the agricultural and livestock insurance process, claims, as well as the new software for agricultural insurance, and the necessary role of agent technicians in agricultural insurance.
Speaking at the program, Chief Administrative Officer Maniram Khatiwada said that every farmer should be insured, and the municipality will also provide necessary facilitation. Speaking about the condition and need of insurance in Sankhuwasabha, the company’s Koshi Province Chief Narayan Gautam said that the company will work to expand the scope of insurance and reach the farmers. The farmers present said that insurance is a necessity today and this awareness program has clarified the insurance related issues.
Organized by Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Company Limited and coordinated by Ward No. 1 of Pauvadung, Bhojpur district, an agricultural insurance awareness program was held on Chaitra 17, 2081 at Ward No. 1’s office, Shyamshila.
In the program chaired by Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Company’s Koshi Province Chief Narayan Gautam, Ward No. The event was hosted by Ward Chairman of Ward 1, Shri Rajendra Kumar Tamang. The program was conducted by Bhojpur Branch Chief Santosh Tiwari. The main speaker of the program was Umesh Dhakal, Head of Agriculture Department, Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance.
The program provided detailed information on how to get insurance, where to get it, how to buy it, and the necessary process to get compensation at the time of claim. A total of 65 participants, including ward members, municipal executive members, farmers and employees, participated in the program to provide security through insurance and also provided information about the process of issuing insurance policies through the software system issued by the Government of Nepal.
An agricultural insurance awareness program was held on Chaitra 18, 2081 in the assembly hall of the Agricultural Knowledge Center, Bhojpur, in coordination with the Agricultural Knowledge Center Bhojpur Project and Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Company Limited.
The program, which was conducted under the chairmanship of the Chief of the Agricultural Knowledge Center, Mukesh Kumar Yadav, was conducted under the chief guestship of the Ward Chairman of Bhojpur Ward No. 5, Phadindra Pradhan. The special guest was Narayan Gautam, Koshi Province Chief of Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Company. The program was attended by a total of 40 participants from the employees of the Agricultural Knowledge Center, Veterinary Hospital, local level agricultural and animal technology leaders, farmers, journalists and other stakeholders.
