Kathmandu. Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Company has called its 28th Annual General Meeting today.
A meeting of the board of directors of the company has decided to hold its annual general meeting on May 14. The meeting has been convened at 10:00 am at Ranimahal Banquet in Dnyaneshwar, Kathmandu.
Last fiscal year 2080. 15 percent cash dividend (including tax) of the proposed paid-up capital will be approved. Accordingly, the company will distribute a cash dividend of Rs 393.39 million to the shareholders.
The meeting will review the meeting allowances and facilities of the Board of Directors and other committees and sub-committees and approve the amount paid to various organizations under social responsibility. The Assembly will pass a special resolution authorising the Board of Directors to make necessary adjustments as per the instructions received from the concerned body in the amendment of the Management Letter and Rules.
The assembly will approve the annual and auditor’s financial report for the last fiscal year. In addition, the assembly will pass a resolution regarding the appointment of auditors and determination of their remuneration for the current fiscal year.
The company has decided to close the book on April 15 for the purpose of annual general meeting and dividend. This means that only the shareholders who have been retained till April 15 will be eligible to participate in the meeting and receive dividends.
