Kathmandu. Deposits in the banking system have increased by Rs 4 billion in a single day. According to the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), deposits have increased to Rs 7.519 trillion from Rs 7.515 trillion on Saturday.
Similarly, credit disbursement increased to Rs 56.43 trillion as of Sunday from Rs 56.42 trillion as of Saturday. The loan flow has increased by Rs 1 billion in a single day.
As of Sunday, deposits of commercial banks have reached Rs 6.765 trillion while loans from commercial banks have reached Rs 50.20 trillion.
The CD ratio has come down to 74.20 percent and the interbank interest rate is 2.75 percent. The CD ratio was 74.23 percent the previous day.
