Rs 2.3 billion allocated for subsidy on child and animal insurance premium

Kathmandu. Access to small and medium farmers will be expanded in the agriculture and livestock insurance program. Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel made the announcement while presenting the budget for the upcoming fiscal year. Similarly, rs 2.30 billion has been allocated for the subsidy on child and animal insurance premium, he said.

In order to increase the export of high-value agricultural products including organic fruits and meat, emphasis will be laid on international promotion by improving the quality of agriculture and food quarantine laboratories.
