Kathmandu. Reliable Nepal Life Insurance Walling Branch has organized a tree plantation program on the occasion of the eighth anniversary of the company. On Sunday, the branch planted saplings of different species by organizing a program at Bahunthan, a tourist destination located in Waling Municipality, Ward No. 11.
Manager of Waling Branch, Nick Gurung, said that bahunthan is a tourist destination with an important identity not only of Waling but also of the entire Syangja.
Addressing the program, Ward No. 11 Ward Chair Dandu Pangeni said that the municipality was preparing a special plan for the integrated development of Bahunthan. “The Reliable Nepal team has made a positive beginning for the prosperity of Bahunthan today. Efforts will be made to continue it as a local government. ”
On the occasion, Ward Chair Pangeni pointed out the need for insurance literacy at the community level and opined that various programmes could be organized in the coming days by collaborating with established insurance companies like Reliable Nepal.
People’s representatives, businessmen, insurance agents and local community as well as employees of Reliable Nepal Life Insurance participated in the program.
