Kathmandu. As of Mid-April of the current fiscal year, loans from banks to real estate have crossed Rs 300 billion.
According to the data released by the Nepal Rastra Bank( NRB), rs 281.55 billion has been disbursed by banks in the last 10 months of the current fiscal year. Loans to real estate have increased by 5 percent compared to mid-June of the previous fiscal year. A total of Rs 268.12 billion was disbursed till mid-July last year.
During the review period, rs 407.90 billion has been disbursed from banks in residential personal home loans. As of Last June, rs 387.01 billion had been disbursed from banks in residential personal home loans.
Loans under this head increased by 5.4 percent in the review period compared to June.
