Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has decided to invest in fixed deposits of banks.
The central bank has issued a notice stating that it will invest Rs 700 million in the gratuity and pension fund as fixed deposits.
Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has deposited Rs 560 million in a category commercial banks, Rs 105 million in b-class national-level development banks and Rs 35 million in c-class national-level finance companies.
Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has asked banks to offer interest rates till 7 pm on June 15. Such fixed deposits will be valid for 366 days from July 20, 2018 to July 20, 2018.
