Kathmandu. Jeevan Bikas Laghubitta Financial Institution, which has been providing financial and social services in 31 districts with the vision of poverty-free Nepal, has presented ‘Jeevan Bikas Golden Award 2081’ to Ramesh Rai. He is the head of information technology department of microfinance.
Yogendra Mandal, founder chairman of Jeevan Bikas Laghubitta Financial Institution and an independent lawmaker from Morang constituency-5, presented the Golden Award to him during the annual award distribution ceremony of Jeevan Bikas Laghubitta Financial Institution. Earlier, Bijay Kumar Mandal, Tulsa Devi Kafle, Maiya Rai and Dil Bahadur BK had received the Golden Award.
Ilam: Sushil Sithung, chief of the District Office of Life Development, Ilam, has received the Jeevan Bikas Courageous Award. The organization gives this award to exemplary and courageous employees. Bikram Raj Subedi, chairman of Jeevan Bikas Laghubitta Financial Institution, presented the 10 tola silver award to Sithung.
Jeevan Bikas has awarded the first prize to branch office Katari on the basis of outstanding performance in 2080/81 BS. Branch Office Ramchowk and Branch Office Rapti have been ranked second and third respectively in the best branch category. Board members Shyam Chandra Khatiwada, Prakash Kumar Shrestha and Indra Narayan Dev Baishya handed over the awards to the three branches.
Manoj Kumar Mandal, chief of Birtamod cluster of Jhapa, Pappu Kumar Sah, chief of Bhojpur district and Rajesh Kumar Sah of Kathauna cluster of Saptari bagged the first, second and third prizerespectively. Director Gokarna Khatiwada presented the awards and medals to them.
Similarly, Bhadrapur branch chief Sharmila Kumari Chaudhary of Jhapa, Majhare branch chief Anil Kumar Sah of Morang and Siraha branch chief Jitendra Kumar Yadav bagged the first, second and third prizerespectively. Ashok Sitaula presented them medals and certificates.
Jason Kumar Das, Aruna Karki and Seema Kumari Rajbanshi bagged the first, second and third prizerespectively. They were presented medals and certificates by board member Dr Bandana Kumari Jain.
Niraj Kumar Singh stood first in the best support staff category. Mukunda Subedi and Phulmaya Karki finished second and third respectively. Chief Executive Officer of Life Development Sanjay Kumar Mandal presented the award to the best supporting staff.
