Kathmandu. Tomorrow will be a public holiday. A public holiday will be observed tomorrow on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Siddhartha Gautam, or Gautam Buddha, known as the harbinger of peace in the world, and the Ubhauli festival. Tomorrow is celebrated by worshiping, worshiping and preaching. Meanwhile, government offices, insurance companies, banks and stock markets will also be closed tomorrow.

Buddha Jayanti is celebrated every year on the full moon day of Vaishakh Shukla. This festival is celebrated to commemorate the contribution of Gautam Buddha to the establishment of world peace. Since buddha’s birth, attainment of knowledge, mahaparinirvana (death) falls on the full moon day of Vaishakh Shukla, buddhists in Nepal and around the world celebrate Buddha Jayanti with emotional reverence and devotion towards Buddha.
