Kathmandu. Prabhu Bank Limited and Agriculture Market Management Committee based at Shanti Ban Vatika of Pokhara Metropolitan City-9 have signed a business agreement. Prabhu Bank Limited and Agriculture Market Management Committee signed a Business Partnership Agreement (MoU) with the objective of facilitating business transactions by converting daily financial transactions into digital medium with easy banking access while agricultural produce produced and imported in different parts of the country including Kaski district is being sold through stalls operated under the Agriculture Management Committee.
Chairman of Agriculture Market Management Committee Nawaraj Duwadi and Chief State Officer of Gandaki Province Raju Rana signed the agreement on behalf of Prabhu Bank Limited.
On behalf of the committee, Chairman Nawaraj Duwadi expressed his gratitude to the bank and expressed the belief that the agreement would facilitate the day-to-day transactions of all the fruit and vegetable markets under the committee.
On behalf of the bank, Chief State Officer Raju Rana expressed the belief that the agreement would facilitate the financial transactions of the agricultural market through digital services.
The agreement aims to make the daily transactions cashless for the businessmen operating under the Agriculture Market Management Committee at Shanti Ban Vatika of Pokhara Metropolitan City-9. The bank will provide necessary internet services for code, digital payments and transactions. In addition, Prabhu Bank will also provide loan facility as per the bank’s rules keeping in view the needs of the bank’s businessmen for business expansion.
