The board of directors of Prabhu Bank has decided to elect Kishore Jung Karki as its chairman. With this, the post of chairperson has been filled up for almost four months.
The board of directors of Prabhu Bank was left without a leader after the four-year term of Lila Prakash Sitaula, who was elected chairman of the board of directors representing ordinary shareholders, ended on April 1, 2081.
The board of directors of Prabhu Bank could not reach a consensus on giving the responsibility of chairman to one of the existing directors.
Similarly, the meeting also decided to appoint Ramesh Raj Aryal as an independent director of the bank.
