Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) Governor Bishwanath Poudel administered the oath of office and secrecy to newly appointed Chairman of Prabhu Bank’s Board of Directors Kishor Jung Karki. He presided over the 381st meeting of the Board of Directors of Busco Bank and took over as the Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Deputy Governor Nilam Dhungana, Deputy Governor Bam Bahadur Mishra and Chief of Bank Supervision Department Dirgha Rawal were present at the swearing-in ceremony held at Nepal Rastra Bank Baluwatar.
Directors and CHIEF Executive Officers of Prabhu Bank were also present on the occasion. Kishor Jung Karki, who was elected as the director of the bank representing the shareholders of the general group in the 23rd Annual General Meeting of the bank held on 9/29/2081, was elected as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the bank in the 380th meeting of the Board of Directors held on 29/03/2082.
He has previously served as joint secretary of the Public Service Commission, National Natural Resources and Finance Commission, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Communications, Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority and Ministry of General Administration.
Similarly, Kishor Jung Karki, who has served as director general of The Nizamati KitabKhana, Department of Internal Revenue and Department of Money Laundering Investigation, has also been a member of the Board of Directors of Nepal Telecom, Melamchi Drinking Water Development Committee, Agricultural Research Council and Agricultural Research Fund.
