Meanwhile, Goddess Laxmi, the goddess of prosperity, is being worshipped this evening and Laxmi Puja is being celebrated. Due to the increase in the number of dates, the festival of Laxmi Puja is being celebrated in the morning and Laxmi Puja in the evening.
The night of Kartik Krishna Aunsi is also known as Sukhratri. For Laxmi Puja, the path to Laxmi Puja is shown by making steps of Laxmi by smearing cow dung and red clay from the courtyard to the main door of Lakshmi and making steps of Lakshmi with rice flour and abir.
