Ojha was suspended from the post of chairman of the Insurance Authority after the Government of Nepal formed an inquiry committee questioning the conduct, efficiency and responsibilities of the post. Ojha has filed a joint writ against the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Singha Durbar, the Ministry of Finance and the Investigation Committee. He has also made chairman of the inquiry committee Krishna Giri and members Jeevan Prakash Sitaula and Kapil Dev Oli as defendants.

Ojha had filed a writ petition in the Supreme Court on July 12, demanding the cancellation of the suspension along with the cancellation of the inquiry committee. Supreme Court Judge Abdul Aziz Musalman issued a show-cause order against the Government of Nepal and other defendants on Friday. Now the matter was re-decided today.
