Kathmandu. The number of taxpayers taking permanent account number has increased by about 6.5 million.
The Ministry of Finance has released the current fiscal year 2081 BS. The number of taxpayers taking permanent account number in the country has increased by 573,682 in the last nine months. At the same time, the number of taxpayers taking permanent account number has reached 67 lakh 99 thousand 815.
In the nine months of the current fiscal year, the number of people taking professional permanent account number (BPAN), permanent account number (WPAN), personal permanent account number (PPAN) has increased by 91,773, 1,839 and 480,070 respectively. At the same time, the number of people taking BPAN has reached 2,035,874, the number of WPAN subscribers has reached 35,167 and the number of PEOPLE taking PPN has reached 4,728,774.
As of Mid-April, the number of people registered with VAT has reached 345,978 and the number of those registered with excise duty has reached 124,264.
