Kathmandu. The Office of the Registrar of Companies has now issued instructions to declare the details of all genuine shareholders at the time of registration of the company.
The company has issued this directive in a notice. The Company Administration Management Information System (CAMIS), which is in operation in the office, now has to declare the details of the actual owner of all the shareholders at the time of registration of the company. At the time of transfer of share rights, the office has made it clear that the person buying the shares should also self-declare whether any other person has the right to the shares.
Similarly, if the benefishry is owned, it is mandatory to submit the details of such a natural person or legal person as well as the annual statement to be submitted every year as well as the details related to the actual owner.
Similarly, for the purpose of recording the rights of the shareholders of the companies registered with the office, if any other person has a full or partial right in the shares of any shareholder, then the office has directed all the companies to collect the details of the actual owner about the identity of such person and the nature of his rights.
