Kathmandu. The digital payment system will be mandatory in public institutions so that real-time payments can be made.
Issuing an integrated circular to all regulators, public bodies and institutions on Sunday, the Ministry of Finance has directed to make digital payments mandatory with effect from July 1.
In a circular issued by the Ministry of Finance, the Nepal Insurance Authority, Nepal Rastra Bank, various ministries and institutions have been directed to make arrangements for payment of all types of payments through digital system.
