Kathmandu. Non-life insurance companies have collected a total insurance premium of more than Rs 3 billion in the month of Baishakh of the fiscal year 2081/82 BS alone. These companies sold 223,278 insurance policies in the month of Baishakh alone and collected a total of Rs 2.96 billion in insurance premiums.
During this period, Siddhartha Premier Insurance Company collected the highest total insurance premium. The company has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 374 million in a month. Shikhar Insurance Company has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 335.9 million. Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Company has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 302.1 million.
Himalayan Everest Insurance has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 296.2 million. NLG Insurance Company has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 289.8 million. IGI Prudential Insurance has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 288.8 million. United Ajod Insurance Company has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 237.6 million. Neco Insurance Company has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 230.5 million. Sanima GIC Insurance Company has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 174.3 million.
Nepal Insurance Company has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 129.6 million. Prabhu Insurance Company has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 125 million. Oriental Insurance Company has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 102.2 million. National Insurance Company has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 50.4 million. The National Insurance Company has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 31 million.
