Kathmandu. In the month of Falgun of the fiscal year 2081/82 alone, non-life insurance companies have collected more than 3.5 billion rupees in total insurance premiums. According to statistics published by the Nepal Insurance Authority, non-life insurance companies operating in the month of Falgun have sold 221,776 insurance policies and collected a total insurance premium of 3.75 billion rupees.
Shikhar Insurance Company has collected the highest total insurance premiums so far during this period. The company has collected a total insurance premium of 881.8 million rupees during this period. Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Company has collected a total insurance premium of 386.8 million rupees. IGI Prudential Insurance has collected a total insurance premium of 349.1 million rupees. Siddhartha Premier Insurance Company has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 306.5 million.
Himalayan Everest Insurance has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 288.7 million. Neco Insurance has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 244.6 million. NLG Insurance Company has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 237.5 million. United Ajod Insurance has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 197.1 million. Sanima GIC Insurance has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 185.7 million.
Oriental Insurance has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 178.3 million. The National Insurance Company has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 153.3 million. Nepal Insurance has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 142.8 million. Prabhu Insurance has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 137.0 million. National Insurance has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 71.3 million.
