NMB Bank’s 12th Heritage Walk Program Concludes

Kathmandu. NMB Bank has concluded its 12th Heritage Walk from Gatthaghar branch of NMB Bank to Shankhadhar Park, Bal Kumari Temple, Pati Bihar, Nagdesh and culminate at Mahalaxmi Temple in Bode.

According to the bank, the event has been organized with the objective of promoting cultural heritage and enhancing literacy for the country’s historical and social transformation with immense potential of a prosperous Nepal.

NMB Bank Limited in association with Nepal Heritage Society has organized the program with the participation of about 700 people including bank employees, employees of Madhyapur Thimi Municipality, members of Nepal Heritage Society and general public. Mayor of Madhyapur Thimi Municipality Surendra Shrestha was present as the chief guest. On the occasion, NMB Bank has provided assistance of Rs 500,000 to Nepal Heritage Society for conservation of heritage and environment as well as dustbins to Madhyapur Thimi Municipality.

A similar programme has also been organized in all seven provinces. The bank has organized heritage walk from East Bus Stand to Pau Pathibhara Temple Jhapa in Koshi Province, Birgunj Branch to Sankaracharya Gate in Madhes Province, Lions Chowk to Harihar Temple in Chitwan, Lakeside Branch to Ram Mandir Birouta in Gandaki Province, Bhalwari Branch to Moksha Dham Seva Ashram in Lumbini Province, Birendranagar Branch to Kakrebihar Temple in Karnali Province and Green Godawari Resort to Godavari Shiva Temple in Far Western Province. ।
