Kathmandu. NMB Bank and Kang Hydropower Company have signed a financial arrangement to invest in the 17.85 MW Upper Maiwa Khola Hydropower Project located in Taplejung district, Maiwakhola and Meringden rural municipalities. Dinesh Dulal, Chief, Sustainable Energy Banking and Ganesh Prasad Subba, Managing Director of Kang Hydropower Company signed the loan agreement on behalf of NMB Bank.
Chief Executive Officer of NMB Bank Govinda Ghimire and Managing Director of nmb Bank Ganesh Prasad Subba exchanged the loan agreement on behalf of the company. On the occasion, CHIEF Executive Officer of NMB Bank Govinda Ghimire urged the company to complete the project within the stipulated cost and time frame and to identify appropriate solutions keeping in mind the technical aspects, environmental and environmental aspects while constructing the project.
Managing Director of Hydropower Company Ganesh Prasad Subba thanked NMB Bank and expressed commitment to complete the Upper Maiwa Khola Hydropower Project within the stipulated cost and time frame.
NMB Bank has so far invested in more than 50 hydropower projects.
