NIC Asia Microfinance Review Meeting and Training Concluded

Kathmandu. NIC Asia Microfinance has concluded a progress review and strategic planning meeting. In the two-day meeting held on Monday and Tuesday, training was also provided to the monitoring officers and loan recovery officers to enhance their skills and capabilities. A total of 47 employees, including chiefs of all seven provinces, 31 monitoring officers and nine loan recovery officers, received training in the meeting.

At the program organized TAG_OPEN_div_10 at Royal Boutique Hotel, Kathmandu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the organization Prakash Raj Sharma briefed about the good practices done by the microfinance institutions operating in the country and abroad, the problems faced in the microfinance sector and the recovery strategy to be taken to maintain the quality of credit. He motivated the employees by giving examples about principles etc.

Chief Executive Officer Cholraj Sharma Joshi, Deputy CHIEF Executive Officer Mesh Bahadur Basnet, Assistant CHIEF Executive Officer Ganesh Ghimire, Assistant General Manager Rajendra Neupane and departmental heads of various departments presented their views on the problems faced for effective implementation of day-to-day operations and the necessary steps to be taken to solve them. program reviewed the progress of the work of the last financial year and formulated the necessary strategy to achieve the target set for the current fiscal year.
