Kathmandu. Sujit Kumar Shakya has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NIC Asia Bank.
A meeting of the board of directors of the bank held on Monday decided to appoint Shakya as the CEO of the bank. He will serve a 4-year term.
The post of CEO was vacant after Roshan Kumar Neupane resigned. Santosh Kumar Rathi has been appointed as the acting CEO of the bank.
Prior to this, Shakya was the senior deputy CEO of Nabil Bank. Shakya will take charge as the CEO of NIC Asia Bank within 30 days.
