Kathmandu. Minister for Education, Science and Technology Raghuji Panta held discussions with the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI). In a discussion with the newly elected office-bearers of the Confederation, Confederation President Birendra Raj Pandey stressed the need to focus on producing skilled human resources.
Stating that the Confederation was trying to integrate education and skills with the industry, he said that the Education and Skills Committee has been formed in the Confederation to give policy suggestions and activities for the same. Pandey also shared that the Confederation has signed moUs with various universities of Nepal with the main objective of linking education with industry.
On the occasion, Education Minister Panta said that there was a need to link education in a way that was in sync with production and the government has given high priority to this task. Stating that the participation of the private sector in education was essential, he pledged to give priority to collaboration with the private sector to link it with production.
In the meeting, nrna’s office-bearer member Sandeep Sharda, director general Dr. Ghanshyam Ojha was also present.
