Kathmandu. Dinesh Sariya, the newly appointed chairman of Protective Micro Insurance Limited, took oath of office and secrecy on Thursday.
Janak Raj Sharma, chairman of Nepal Insurance Authority (NEA), administered the oath of office and secrecy to him as per Clause 47 (6) of the Insurance Act, 2079. He has been elected as the Chairman of Protective Micro, a licensed micro-life insurance company, by the unanimous members of the board of directors.
The post of chairperson of the board of directors of the insurance company has been vacant since the resignation of Kirtika Agrawal. With Agrawal’s departure, Sariya Dahal, Niru Dahal Pandey, Nitesh Malpani and independent director Ganesh Raj Panta are the board of directors.
