Nepse’s market capitalization increased by 30%, whose share is how much?

Kathmandu. The market capitalization of all sectors has increased in the stock market. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has released this data for the 10 months of the current fiscal year.

According to statistics, the market capitalization of insurance companies in NEPSE has increased by 30 percent in the last one year. The market capitalization of insurance companies has increased from Rs 496.7 billion in april last year to Rs 645.1 billion by Mid-April of the current fiscal year. In the last one year, the wealth of business group investors has increased. The market capitalization of the business group increased by 1458.9 percent to Rs 244.67 billion at the end of the review period from Rs 15.69 billion in the previous year.

The market capitalization of the investment group has increased by 50.5 percent in the last one year. The investment group’s market capitalization increased from Rs 230.88 billion to Rs 347.36 billion at the end of the review period.

Similarly, the market capitalization of other groups increased by 42.6 percent. The total market capitalization of other groups has increased from Rs 309.15 billion to Rs 440.93 billion at the end of the review period.

Similarly, the market capitalization of hydropower group has increased by 48.5 percent, development bank by 33.8 percent, hotel by 28.4 percent, finance group by 12.8 percent, microfinance by 10.9 percent and production and processing by 13.4 percent in the last one year.

The market capitalization of the banking group has increased by 23.6 percent in this one year. The market capitalization of the banking group has increased from Rs 816.10 billion to Rs 1,008.3 billion in the review period.

During the last one year, the total market capitalization of NEPSE has increased by 37.8 percent to Rs 4,358.71 billion. Nepse’s market capitalization stood at Rs 3,169.48 billion as of April last year.

Commercial bank group has 23.1 percent market capitalization, development bank group 4.65 percent, finance company group 1.8 percent, microfinance group 8.1 percent, insurance company group 14.8 percent, production and processing group 5.6 percent, hotel group 2.7 percent, business group 5.6 percent, investment group 8 percent, hydropower group 15.5 percent and other groups 10.1 percent. The share of insurance companies in NEPSE is the third highest after banking and hydropower.
